“Für drei Erwachsene war das Zimmer sehr klein und entsprechend überteuert. Sonst ok, im oberen Stock eines Hauses modernisiert und mit hübscher Dachterrasse. Das Treppenhaus und der Hauseingang dagegen seit Ewigkeiten nicht gereinigt und sehr verschmutzt. Frühstück? Naja, italienisch halt: Kaffee und pro Nase ein cornetto und etwas abgepacktes süßes Zeug. Wenig Auskunftsfreudigkeit der Wirtin, die den Kaffee brachte und das Zimmer machte. ”

“Booked a quadruple room at this Agriturismo in Calabria and specifically called the owner to confirm it had two separate bedrooms. He lied. We got one bedroom and an old, tattered pull-out couch. The terrace had absolutely no furniture, so it was completely useless. The room was very poorly furnished, with only a tiny 10-inch TV you could barely see and nowhere to sit except that worn-out couch. No fridge in the room, which was a serious issue for my elderly parents aged 81 and 84, especially……

“L'agriturismo è fuori centro abitato. Abbiamo trovato il ristorante attiguo chiuso (turno di riposo?) per cui per cenare ci siamo dovuti spostare al lido (1.5 km). Per la colazione al posto dei prodotti confezionati sarebbe bastato un pezzo di pane fresco e della marmellata casereccia.”
