“The air conditioning didn’t work. Breakfast is only for groups. I paid 14 euros for pastries and coffee. They did fix the air conditioning right away. Bed was not good but I slept well regardless. Place is old and shower is very small. The price is ridiculously high for such a dump. I have to say that most of the workers there were very nice.”

“We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea). I can recommend La Taverna!”

“Das Zimmer war in der untersten Etage und klein (Superior Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht).Kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung. Lediglich 5 Kleiderbügel. Kein Stuhl im Zimmer. Balkon hatte gute Größe, leider durch hohe Hecke keine Aussicht. Bad und WC ok. Personal war sehr bemüht, mitunter - insbesondere im Barbereich - überfordert. Frühstücksauswahl ausreichend. Wunderschöner Ausblick von der großen Terrasse. Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht erfüllt ”

“Warmly welcomed by the lovely Lucia & her husband, her place is perfectly positioned in the central part of Oppido making it very walkable to all the interesting points in the awesome cultural town, the locals are all so hospitable, it was an extreme pleasure to visit my mum‘s hometown.
