The staff was very helpful in providing a room before the usual 4:00PM check-in time. We were able to get situated, freshen up, rest and get ready for the Padres vs Dodgers game. The room was very clean, brought up to date and extremely comfortable. I love the fitness and yoga rooms. The location of Hotel Sofia is perfect; a nice equidistant walk to Little Italy, Gaslamp and the water.

The room was so small!!! Thank god we didn’t have our kids. No closet or space in the bathroom for my makeup and hair products. T.V was small also, my husband could only see half of it from the couch.

"I would rather sleep in a pig sty than ever stay at Modoc Inn! Bathroom door only attached by the bottom hinge. Blood on the sheets. I brought it to the attention of the front employee? Didn’t care. Window was so dirty you could hardly see out. I guess it’s a good thing, because what I could see? ..."
