"great property with everything you need, except decent directions to find the place. not near the road, so cant park close by. there is a car park close by, but it is entered by an electronically controlled barrier, but the company managing the property, spain sun rentals, think a few aerial photos and a picture of the front of the house is enough directions! if you use this property, and it is a great place, please note that the electronic barrier is the closest point to it that you can get to...

"Best hotel we've ever stayed in and we've been to Nerja ten times. Room cleaned everyday, hotel was spotless, lovely staff that go out of their way to greet staff eveytime you enter the hotel. They even arranged taxi to airport. Driver met us at reception, took our cases and escorted us to carpark for €80. After staying at Hotel Balcon wouldnt stay anywhere else!"

"Loved every minute of my stay from check in to check out. It was like stepping back in time to old style Spanish hospitality. Staff addressed us by name from the moment we arrived and couldn’t do enough to help and make us feel welcome. The owner, Mercedes was always on hand and the staff Miguel and Nando remembered the little things, such as what we drank. Rooms spotlessly cleaned every day and the sea view was beautiful. "
