“Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. The everyday cleaning and turn down service is……

“I think we had the best location for our vacation. Wake up to a view of the ocean, very quiet, not even much traffic noise, especially at night. Sounds of the ocean if you want, close the windows if you don’t! The boardwalk is a 5 minute walk, which takes you to restaurants overlooking the ocean. Absolutely beautiful. The only “better if” would be more communication prior to arrival on how to check in. Owner and his wife very friendly, available quickly if needed.”

“The property is well located in the Vila Senora de Rocha community, with its great communal pools area. Convenient for visiting the Algarve. The villa was spacious enough for our group of 6, and feels airy with its high ceilings. It was clean on arrival.There is AC, although we didn't need it in October. It could do with a little TLC generally, but all small stuff. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues and the repair guy came promptly,”

“Excellent location (pubs, shops, restaurant, museums), facilities (I washed and dried all of my holiday clothes the night before I went home), local transportation. Only downside is that there's a karaoke bar at a weekend 5 doors away until 2am :(”

“Thank you for such a pleasant experience. Everything was clean, and the location was so convenient. It was less than a 3 minute was in any direction to get to the beach, yummy restaurants and the market. Having parking was very convenient, as street parking was rarely available. The village was very quaint, with interesting points of interest at every corner. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, I think this was our most restful stay for our whole trip.
