We got a standard room (200,000 IDR) instead of the superior room that we had booked (450,000 IDR). The host arrived the following day - he didnt even care to answer the phone. No compensation offered, he only said it was miscommunication between the booking server and him and that the standard room is the SAME as the superior room.
The room we stayed in had a broken bed, a window impossible to close, absolutely reeking toilet due to not working sewer system, the door lock stuck so the host had to break in the room through window, we had to wake up the sulky staff in the morning to ask for breakfast.
We strongly warn everyone from staying at this place - there are lots of cosy, friendly homestays all around Moni, but this one is just money-ripping badly-running business!
After a late arrival due to flight cancellation (5am), despite we informed the hotel who confirmed, nobody welcomed us and we have been waiting 2 hours. The boss of the hotel was having drinks outside and refused to come and give us the keys of our rooms that were paid 2 months in advance through Expedia. The guest house looked so dirty. After waiting 2 hours outside in the night we have been obliged to find another hotel. Sima hotel didn’t reimburse us ( the boss was sleeping all day long...). We lost our money and I hope Expedia will reimburse us. The reputation of this hotel is very bad localy, and its reputation is justified. I strongly advise your to choose another hotel.

When we got there the manager said he had no record of our booking. He Demanded we pay him cash then told wotif we had not paid him wanting to be paid again. The room was large and had a double and single bed which was good for us. But no hot water. Even though advertised as having it. No towels even after repeated requests. No sheets just slept on the doona cover. Breakfast we ended up missing on the first day as were told it would be brought to our room but it actually was served on the veranda of the main house. Very steep and muddy path to the room. If you do stay here make sure you get a receipt.
