“I booked a 2 bedroom cottage with a kitchen and living room. There were pictures of this cottage but when we got there, it didn't exist. They put us in a place with 2 BRs but no kitchen or living room. The staff (who were very kind and friendly) brought us a fridge and hotplate and some plates. The electricity was off when we arrived and even though they have a generator, they didn't turn it on. Every day the electricity went off for an hour or 2 which meant no internet and no way to cook……
“Lovely location overlooking Lake Malawi. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast in the morning could have included local fresh fruit like water melon, paw paw, guava, pineapple. Very cheap to buy at the local market. The kitchen was away from the dining area so the cooked breakfast especially, would have been hotter if the plates had covers over them when carried down to the dining area. One big improvement they could make is to supply mugs, a kettle, tea and coffee in the rooms. Another……
