“Loved this guest house, as needed somewhere for one night before leaving Portugal. We had a geound floor room, and the beach view was higher than our level, but you can see the sea when standing. Lovely to hear the waves, and i was concerned it was under the flight path but very little plane noise too. There was a party on the roof that night so we couldnt use, but there are so many other bars and restaurants on the strip it didnt matter, and everyone had packed up and gone by 9.30. Would……

“I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The staff is fantastic, particularly Adriana, the receptionist, and Jackson, who served breakfast in the morning. They’re incredibly caring and offer amazing hospitality. It’s a 10-star hotel, not 8.8 as the ratings suggest! This is a new hotel with rooftop and ground-floor swimming pools and a sauna and cold water treatment on the first floor. They also provide free shuttle buses to the beach and Albufeira old town. “This was almost a 5 star review - only 1 issue let it down. First the positives: Great location close to the beach and beautiful views from the pool area ( Pool area service very helpful and attentive). Breakfast was excellent - huge choice to cater for everyone and friendly chef preparing omelettes etc to order. Stayed here about 2 years previously - but since then chef and evening menu at the Kamal (casual restaurant) has been completely transformed - food is now exceptionally good. Room had……

“Excellent hotel and extremely clean, good plentiful breakfast and nice pool area to relax in. Very helpful staff and useful to have the O Tacho restaurant onsite for lunch and evening meal option. Good range of dishes and generally fast service, although restaurant is closed Sunday evening and Monday all day you will need to look elsewhere for lunch and dinner. Main drawback is the location of hotel in relation to Tavira and if you don't have a car. A good 20-25 minute walk to the town centre……
