Having 24 hour reception was very useful.
Really nice breakfast on the terrace downstairs under the shade of the building. Buffet-style with lots of choice.
Room is small, but adequate and air-conditioning worked.
Only quibble is the disposable plastic cups in the room.

Very luxurious castle type property-beds are great . We had two rooms on 2nd floor - which is really like a 3 rd - hefty walk - especially with sets of luggage . Pool was amazing - they forgot to open washroom by pool - oh well . Michelin wasn’t opened that day - sad - but bistro was adequate. Road in is in terrible shape . Overall a very chill place - great staff and rooms etc . It ’s just designed more for events than “ actual “ guests I believe

"Unusual hotel that would have been amazing back in the day but now needs a lot of TLC however the rooms were clean but furniture a bit tatty. I would not consider it a 4 star hotel It would benefit from tea making facilities in the room and abolishing the single use shower gel which are so not good ..."
