The hotel seems to be undergoing renovations still or did some quick patch work. Standard breakfast, nothing to rave about. I had to switch rooms the first smelled like smoke. Do not stay on the first floor, very noisy. Outside of the hotel needs more lighting for the parking lot area. It's close to the highway and other hotels in that area. Bathroom was clean, shower area could use work. Nothing on Wi-Fi never used it. 6/10 because the room was spacious.

The property was maintained and clean enough, but the staff, particularly the front desk people were disinterested in their job. Every time I went to the front desk the staff member was on their cell phone texting or playing a game. I had to address them after standing there for a long moment to get their attention. When I finally got their attention they seemed perturbed at having to set their phone aside and talk to me. I asked for someone to look at the tv in my room as it was not working, after 3 nights staying there it still remained inoperable. I was part of a group that had a car show there and had spent a great deal of money with them. While there several guest vehicles were broken into, the security cameras were not in operation and the front desk staff didn’t seem concerned that anything had happened. My group had form our own security patrol to ensure the safety of all the vehicles in the hotel’s parking lot. While many things with our stay were adequate, the lack of attention and concern by the management was severely lacking.

The breakfast was poor. They ran out of food (almost all of the food options) and clean plates by 8:45. The food was not replenished. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast. It was disappointing.

The breakfast was alright, cleaning services did not restock towels , empty our garbages nor replace toliet paper. They never even came to our room. When I called and asked for towels and toliet it was never delivered either. Would not stay here again. Front desk lady seemed lazy.

It was an accessible hotel that a short distance from King’s Island. I got the studio on the first floor with a kitchen. If you are staying with your family, it had a kitchen and a refrigerator to be able to cook and store food if you didn’t want to go out to eat. They had a breakfast buffet and eggs and sausage were prepared. But, I have never been a fan of cook it yourself food, in this case pancakes and waffles. If you are in a hurry or have hungry children, not a good idea. The front desk were efficient, but they seemed a tad annoyed and uninterested. I traveled around the world in places like Vietnam and Cambodia where the hotel staff were over the top polite and kind. I don’t expect that everywhere I go. But, in general, there is a real contrast between hospitality culture in other countries versus the United States. It’s not just hotels, even between airlines. It’s a discussion that needs to be had by the American hospitality industry. I don’t expect Cirque de Soleil when I walk into hotel or onto a plane, but when I’m paying, don’t behave like you are doing me a favor. This goes across the board in American hotels. It’s not a unique problem.
