Montorio Vacation Packages
Montorio is close to many of Burgos’s well-known sights. Two attractions that should be on every visitor’s itinerary is the wonderful Burgos Castle and the much-loved Atapuerca Convention Center. If time permits, be sure to also visit Burgos Cathedral and the Plaza del Mio Cid.
Do make the effort to see some of the nearby museums and galleries, which help make this region the special place it is. In particular, you should make sure you check out the Museo de Burgos and the Museo de la Evolución Humana. For a great night out, reserve seats at the Burgos Teatro Principal, one of the region’s premier concert venues.
Some of Burgos' best attractions are in and around Montorio, such as the Cartuja de Miraflores, the Monasterio de las Huelgas and the Paseo del Espolon. If you’re a history buff, the region’s past has been beautifully preserved at the Arco de Santa Maria.
