The minute we walked in my wife tried to close the bathroom door and a piece of metal fell on her head. They gave us another room. Other than that, everything else was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room they gave us was comfortable enough.

We Only need coffee and a croissant for breakfast
When we told the restaurant hostess she told as we couldn’t sit in the breakfast room but only in the non air conditioned empty salon
We were made to feel like 2nd class citizens
We declined her offer and had our breakfast in a cool reception area Hotel Perfectly placed

"A comfortable and fairly convenient option in Chalon-sur-Saone, The main restaurant areas are closer to the river so a bit of a walk, the staff were all very nice and the room was functional (no view, no frills) but clean and the bed was comfortable."

"Overall our stay was really good. The staff were really helpful and the food excellent and good value for money. The only downside was our room smelt of smoke. There were no other rooms available, and the staff were very apologetic and gave us a room spray, but the smell persisted."
