Das Servicepersonal war äusserst freundlich und das Essen lecker. Einzig der Chef war nicht freundlich und wollte uns andauernd überteuerte Touren und Safari andrehen, das war etwas mühsam. “Such a beautiful gem! The manager was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were cosy, and the food was absolutely amazing- one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it truly lived up to our expectations. “We stayed Moi Dambulla for 3 days. It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Its also really close to the Golden temple and can get to Sigirya easily. The staff members were excellent and went above and beyond. The place is very clean, I wasn’t keeping well on the day of checkout and the staff very kindly let us checkout late because of me. They also cooked us meals. Erande, the manager I believe and the staff were really great, we definitely recommend the stay. ”

“Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more……

“We stayed in 6 different hotels during our trip in Sri Lanka and this one is by far the best one. Luxury feel with amazing view, spacious rooms and balcony, great service and breakfast. My favorite part is the pool, big with an amazing view of the field and farm. Note that it's almost 1km from the main road so you probably won't go out much. It also means it's secluded, quiet and secluded.”
