Les photos correspondent à la réalité... L'hôtel lui-même est très bien, mais il est situé dans un quartier extrêmement commercial et bruyant. C'est là que les navires de croisière accostent pour la journée avec leur hordes de jeunes américains assoiffés et en sandales. Au moins, les soirées sont calmes puisque tout le monde est rembarqué. À distance de marche d'un excellent resto. Le grand attrait réside paradoxalement dans le ballet quotidien des immenses navires de croisière qui passent littéralement sous les fenêtres de l'hôtel, tournoient sur eux-mêmes, et accostent ou repartent. Un véritable spectacle, à admirer pour un jour ou deux.

We had a wonderful time in the Bahamas and really enjoyed our stay overall. There aren’t many all-inclusive resorts in Nassau, and the value of the unlimited drinks alone made this trip worth it. We probably had 15–20 drinks a day ea, and considering other nearby resorts were charging around $18 per drink, we saved a fortune. One tip for fellow coffee lovers: skip the coffee at the buffet and the cappuccinos. They were very weak and didn’t taste much like American coffee. Instead, head to the sports bar and order a quadruple espresso. It was the closest thing to a good, strong cup of coffee that we found all week! The resort itself was beautiful, and while some of the staff members were fantastic and friendly, most seemed a bit lacking in personality. It wasn’t enough to affect our vacation, but it was noticeable. The biggest difference compared to other all-inclusive resorts we’ve visited was the service around the pool and beach. At many resorts, staff frequently come by offering drinks, taking food orders, or asking if you need anything. Here, you had to make the effort to find someone or go to the bar yourself most of the time. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it definitely didn’t have that pampered all-inclusive feel we’ve experienced elsewhere. Overall, we had an amazing vacation, loved being in the Bahamas, and would absolutely consider coming back. If you go in with the right expectations, it’s a great value—especially if you plan to enjoy the all-inclusive drinks!

Island House is one of my favorite hotels in the world and yet feels just like home. The boutique hotel is spacious, with quiet tree top views, a relaxing pool that’s always free, spa, gym and access to the private beaches of historic Old Fort Bay Club. The staff is attentive and relaxed. Excellent restaurant options, including an Italian market with fresh pizza, Roman fine dining, inventive Sushi and an all day bar & cafe. A monthly rotation of events focuses on wellness, cinema, music, fine dining and culture. Close to the airport, but far from the cruise crowds - Island House sits in front the heart of Lyford Cay, the capital of off-shore financial services, private banking and luxury neighborhoods tourists never see.

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.
