A great place to 'shelter in place. Beautiful views, scenic hikes on quiet trails, tide pool exploration.

Moss Beach is 18 miles to San Francisco and 22 miles to Silcone Valley where you will find tech companies and business people. This is a great place to rent if you are here for work. Work hard all day and relax at night while listening to the waves steps from the house.

Newly rebuilt house above Seal Cove Beach. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a large great room. Large deck with expansive ocean views. Beach access and beautiful Fitzpatrick Marine Reserve Park one block north of house. Two bed, two bath with large living area and brand new kitchen. Same great views from the two bed rooms and the large central living area. WiFi, 2 TV's, ample street parking. Moss Beach is between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay with great beaches, hiking and lots of activities near by for the whole family. Fifteen minute drive to San Francisco. Very short walk to the Moss Beach Brewery, voted best restaurant at Half Moon Bay.
Truly elegantly furnished. Living room couch by Design Within Reach. Casper mattresses. Case Study bed. Hand made oriental carpets and high end kitchen fixtures.

Moss Beach

A lovely house with beautiful views from all rooms and from the spacious deck and backyard. Within walking distance of all the stuff I like to do in Moss Beach. A perfect house to get away and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the area.

Great place to stay!

We’ve rented this house for new year’s for several years and we just love it. It’s got great views, and is really close to the Fitzgerald Marine Preserve with its tidepools, trails, and seals. The backyard has a large patio perfect for lounging with fire pits to keep off the chill. They’ve recently redone the lower yard and it’s beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!

Truly beautiful

We came for a wedding in Half Moon Bay. This home was the perfect location. The view is stunning and the home is clean and relaxing. We hope to be back for another stay.

Peaceful home base

The property and location enabled us to rest and prepare for demanding days in the city. Short evening walks to the marine reserve and delicious dinners at the next door restaurant brought the vacation to our visit.

We have booked many vacation homes, and this is definitely the most well-stocked one ever! If they don't have it, they don't make it. The home is beautiful and clean and comfortable. The outside areas are gorgeous! And there is so much to do without ever getting in the car! This booking is a true gem!!

What an incredible find! The Pacific Ocean at your door

This property is perched on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean and its reef break into a protected area and marine sanctuary that is a nursery for seals and their pups. The views, waves crashing and sea mist are ever present. The house is clean and light with a beautiful patio good for seating in the day and the night. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to experience the Pacific, the bike trail and the cute town of Half Moon Bay. The historic Distillery restaurant is right next door which adds color and life and visitors. It opens at noon and closes at 7 PM.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was easy for the grandparents to enter the property, since there weren't any stairs. Beautiful view from the back patio.

We had a wonderful time here! The views from inside the home as well as the patio are amazing! We enjoyed cooking, playing games and taking walks. The owner was responsive when we had questions about the fire pits. I would definitely stay here again!

Every room with a view. Nearby walk to steps that take you to the beach and tide pools. Restaurant next door with good food and drink options. The back patio is the star with large fire pit, ocean view and lots of seating

A Gem

A Special Place

Our family has stayed at this lovely little Moss Beach home four times and it's always a wonderful stay. We love the ocean views from the deck as well as the walkability with the nearby cypress forest and marine reserve steps away. Its location feels far removed yet it's convenient for visiting friends and activities in the bay area.

Perfect in every way

We couldn’t have been happier with this magical place in Moss Beach. The place is set up with generous provisions that go above and beyond anything we Have gotten from a VRBO. The location is perfect with a glorious view of the ocean from the deck. There are great hiking trails that take you along the coast. We were able to see whales in the distance. Hope to return someday!

Great house with great view

This was one of the nicest stays that my friends and I (who have been vacationing together for 28 years) have experienced. The house was so well stocked and clean and we felt so welcome. The hosts even left us some delicious homemade treats in the refrigerator. The view is amazing and we spent lots of time outside enjoying it as well as the fireplaces. We will be back next year.

What a view!

Better than the pictures! The water and sunset views were amazing, as were the sound of the waves. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked with personal care products. The deck is huge and comfortable. Although Located next to a restaurant, we had no problems with parking or noise. The only negative is that the bathroom pocket doors stick making them difficult to close.

Great views

We had gorgeous views, a beautiful deck to sit out and watch the sunset. The only thing we noticed is that the oven door was coming apart. The lights in the second bedroom were not working. And we needed to be really super careful whenever we cooked anything because the alarm went off when we tried to make toast and cook hashbrowns in the morning also when we baked our lasagna, not sure why it went off there was no smoke there was nothing that was burning or even close to burning All in all. It was a great weekend we would come back.

Beautiful Cypress and Ocean Views

This was even better than the pictures! You walk into the house and the living and dining area is open concept and all windows so all you see is the beautiful cypress trees and ocean view. The backyard is amazing and we lounged by the huge fire pit every night. The area is very quaint and small and several hiking trails literally just out the door. The cypress tree tunnel trail that you can walk to is so beautiful!! I was concerned since it was next to a restaurant but you do not hear any noise. The furniture is dated and the beds are small only full size and as others remarked the fire alarm is very sensitive, thank goodness but husband is tall enough to reset them but i I would stay here again anytime.

What a View

We had a great weekend stay here. Pictures do not do that deck and view justice. So relaxing out there with the fire pits going, very quiet and we heard no noise from the restaurant next door. It did rain a couple nights but we still had the view from indoors. Only downfall is the parking. If you leave and return before 7:00 pm the parking is taken up from the restaurant customers. We managed though, and it wasn’t a big deal.
