Fabulous Stay

Beautiful Home and fabulous location on a stunning two mile beach. Loved the pool for relaxing. Would definitely stay again. Exuma has my heart! Definitely experience the island by water and it’s beautiful surrounding cays are stunning!

Stayed for our 10 year anniversary, and had a great trip. The property is so beautiful that you never want to leave the private residence, beach, and pool! Property manager was awesome and very accommodating!

Beautiful Villa on a stunning beach!!!

This was a beautiful villa with incredible grounds. Twenty feet from the front porch was a private pool and fifty feet from the oool was a lovely beach with turquoise water. The house was well maintained and well equipped with everything you would need!!

Was so relaxing and fun for entire family. We enjoyed the pool, the ocean, other beaches, snorkeling, local restaurants, donut shop, excursions and chef dinner at the villa. Best vacation ever.

Wonderful Home Wonderful Island

The property is perfect if you want an island getaway where you feel like you own 2 miles of your perfect beach. The house is extremely well located near the airport, easy to get to, and has everything you need and nothing you don't.

Perfect getaway

Amazing house and location! If you want to get away, this place is the spot. Water as blue as the eye can see. Super quiet area so you can really immerse yourself in the surroundings. Loved it!

Absolutely Incredible!

Casa Del Mar was absolutely incredible! The view was just as breathtaking on day 7 as it was on day 1. We must have taken a hundred pictures of the view. The house was very close to the airport and centrally located on the main island making trips to Georgetown or the west side not to far. Can’t wait to stay here again!

A Slice of Paradise

Our family had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home. House was even better than on the site, very well equipped and the management was extremely helpful, including finding us a last minute private car rental during regatta week when our original reservation fell through. We would absolutely come back!!

That Pool and View are AMAZING!!

The villa is beautiful, the views are breathtaking, you’re just farther enough away from town that you feel private, but close enough to access everything quickly. The villa is well stocked and we cooked several meals. The pool is a 5 STAR!!!! Sunsets were beautiful!!!! The villa is maintained and had everything we needed (the doors are heavy to open and close but that did not interfere with our trip). Perfect combination of luxury and privacy. I can’t say enough about this place! The decor and views set the tone for our stay to be relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend!

Beautiful Property

The beach villla was absolutely beautiful! Everything was clean and in working order. We LOVED the showers! The kitchen had what we needed to prepare our meals and the grill was perfect for evening meals. The pool was a great addition for the days where the water is a little rough. Gabby and Randy were both great. The doors are a little heavy but that didn't affect our group. Other than that, no complaints! I've already started recommending this property to friends and family!

Absoutely LOVED our stay and Ms.Knowles ..Cant wait to return!

I just returned from a 4 day trip to Casa del Mar and loved it beyond words. We stayed in the beach villa which was perfect for our group of 4 . The property was clean, well finished and beautifully appointed. The house Mgr Ms.Onike Knowles made our trip a success from start to finish, and is truly a gem! The beach Villa is literally on the Ocean with the other villas situated directly behind by the pool. The appliances and finishes are high-end and the furniture is very comfortable. The one thing I did notice is that one of the two bedrooms does not connect to the living area from the inside (which is not an issue and actually great if you want a little more privacy). Both bedrooms face the Beach/Ocean for magnificent views from your bed. Downtown Georgetown is a 15-20 minute cab ride away and taxis were initially difficult to catch (maybe due to the holiday weekend). Luckily we met a nice cab driver at the airport named Leroy who made himself available every time we called (good thing I asked him for his number). This is not our first time in the Exumas but definitely the best, thanks to Onike, Leroy, Roberts and the beautiful honest people of the Island, Everyone Loved Casa del Mar, and I cant wait to return.

Disappointed

Initially I had to contact the owner to see if the manager received my first email. I requested the complimentary ride from the airport to ensure we had room for everyone and our luggage as we also rented a car but had 2 car seats so we didn’t want to make an extra trip. We didn’t see the driver at the airport and when we asked an airport employee said he left because we rented a car, luckily everything barely fit in our rental. Upon arrival housekeeping was finishing and she said she just had linens left and she was done. We went to our rooms to change and there was broken glass in the guestroom, I brought it to the housekeeper’s attention and she said she knew and hasn’t cleaned it yet. But yet she saw us walk in there with our toddlers. We asked for 2 high chairs and were told when we arrived there was only 1. If we knew this beforehand I could have planned accordingly and brought a travel one since we have toddler twins. We never received the property orientation with someone from management, were just told by the housekeeper to email Gabby with any questions. The outdoor furniture had large tears and will soon get moldy with the occasional rain, we covered them with towels so we didn’t sit on the damp foam. The gas grill didn’t start, and was rusty and attracted a ton of flies. There was 1 roll of toilet paper in the laundry room, none in the 3rd bathroom, and 1 roll in the other 2 bathroom so with 6 people we quickly ran out. The location is beautiful and we loved being right on the beach. We had high expectations from the listing but were left disappointed.

• Not clean - the unit was not clean -- food smear on the fridge, the carpets were clearly not vacuumed before our stay with visible chunks of food. The couch covers need a washing. One mirror vanity was broken but I understand that was a freak accident from people before us - we are not concerned about that. • The outside furniture is completely shredded. Unusable and an eye sore. • Kitchen not stocked - Coffee carafe was missing (later we were told they knew it was broken). I had to make coffee by holding a coffee paper over a cheese grater. Very bad way to start a morning. Further - the kitchen has only 4 small cups, 4 large cups for 4 people. We purchased brownie mix to make -- but then there was no tablespoon for measurement and no baking pan. • The internet was so poor that we had to purchase an international data plan so that we could check/send a few emails for work • Our second night, the water pressure went to near zero while one son was showering. Second son could not shower as it was literally a drip.
