Great Stay Awesome grits 😋

The check in, staff at front desk, and room were very nice. The staff at the deli were ok and fairly accommodating. Our only complaint was the casino. The machines were disappointing and my husband was wanting the poker machines like we play in every other casino we have been in but they were no where to be found. The slots were not at all familiar (except Buffalo and a couple of others). I appreciated the non-smoking area game area very much - but I wish the games had been better.

The casino is great. Bathroom shower area can use improvement the parking is a little hassle. Some spots should be allocated for hotel room customers

Clean room and friendly staff

The good....The room was really clean, the decor was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. There was a lot of pillows, the AC worked great, and there were plugs on the bedside walls, next to the side tables to charge phones etc. It was downtown , and the staff was kind. The ok...The bathroom was mostly clean, but dirt was built up in the corners of the bathroom floors, the paint was chipped along the floor boards, the jetted tub showed signs of corrosion. I was really looking forward to having a jetted tub and a relaxing bath in it when I booked, but after seeing that decided against it. At check in we asked about the closest bar and were pointed across the street rather then the bar area AT THE HOTEL. The information about the hotel said there was refreshments like water and coffee in common areas. There was what looked like it used to be a jar of ice water with lemon but it was fairly empty with warm room temperature water when we arrived, and there was no coffee. So...no water or coffee. Also there was no parking. You had to park on the street, or pay to park in the public parking next door or pay for valet parking which was $24 or $25 a night. (That also was not mentioned when booking.) The elevator was gross. There was garbage, dirt, and grime on the floor of it and fingerprints all over the inside of it. It had not been cleaned in what looked like a long time.
