"The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. "If you’re looking for an isolated setting where nobody will bother you, this is the place for you! You basically have your own road and there is nothing but woods and cornfields as far as you can see from the house. Perfect for a relaxing trip, with civilization only about 10 minutes away. There were a LOT of dead bugs, however, including a few in our bedding. I’d double check before sleeping in the beds if you stay here. Other than that issue, I would recommend this place as a peaceful getaway!"
