"My wife and I randomly picked The Alander because we needed a last minute escape after sadly losing our 16 year old dog. I cannot say enough about not just the courtesy, kindness, and efficiency of literally all staff we interacted with, but also how terrifically designed and clean the facilities are. The restaurant and bar attached are top notch as well, and hav eclearly become a destination spot for the local area. Reid, one of the owners, is a great conversationalist, and incredibly attentive to guest's needs. We encountered numerous guests who were also thoroughly impressed with the grounds and facilities and restaurant/bar. We will absolutely be returning. 5 stars. "

"We had a lovely weekend in this beautiful home. There were so many cozy reading nooks and fireplaces. The view from every window is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable Great location for hikes and exploring the little towns nearby. Absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. And I’m longing for a cast iron stove like that for my home. "

"Our group of 8 had a delightful stay at the Antique Farmhouse! Robin was very friendly and responsive. It’s a large house, with plenty of room to spread out and explore. The kitchen is large, and very well equipped. We enjoyed cooking meals together as a group. The property itself is beautiful, and the cows are fun. All in all, a great trip!"

"This vacation home gets an A from our group! The location was wondeful for a long weekend of hiking in the Berkshires. We were an intergenerational group and it was great for the grandparents to be on the first floor and adolescents in the loft, and smaller kids and parents in the roomy and comfortable bedrooms.It was a dream to have plenty of bathrooms!The kitchen is really well set up for a large group (usually a source of lots of irritation!).It was great to have a dining tablr that fit everyone.The magestic fireplace really was a showstopper. We had a beautiful fire going during most of our visit. We enjoyed the sauna, and a jump in the chilly pool when we were nice & hot.It was perfect for family - luxurious and elegant without being overly precious. "

"This was our third stay at Sabrina’s cheerful, charming, and super cozy little house in Sheffield. Love the first floor open living/dining area, the wonderfully stocked kitchen, the spacious deck for lounging or enjoying an alfresco meal, the badminton and fire pit in the yard…It’s a terrific getaway stay that’s also perfect for entertaining. The house is in a quiet area that is good for biking, and is close to Great Barrington as well as Millerton and the Harlem Valley Rail Trail in New York. We are already thinking about our fourth visit next year!"
