Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, with very kind and welcoming staff. However, the room was clearly in need of better care and maintenance. The walls were scratched, and there was visible water damage near the bathroom, apparently caused by water overflowing from the shower. The room also had a slightly musty smell.
On our first night, we had an issue with the king-size bed. One side was noticeably sunken, as though the mattress was too worn. Management did what they could to address the problem, and it seemed better afterward.
The hotel has a beautiful view, a nice location, and a lovely restaurant and very king stuff serving. I would stay here again, but the rooms need more attention to these details to make the overall experience as enjoyable as the hotel itself.
