Great Weekend

We had a great stay, the property was lovely and close to town. Darryl and Robyn are very friendly and welcoming, we will consider staying again when we are in Mudgee next.

Quiet bliss

Our family loved our stay here. Our two kids aged 5 and 9 loved having space to run around and meet the animals here and next door, and the cottage had everything we could need - close enough to town for convenience but far enough that it’s peaceful and quiet, easy cooking and a lovely deck to watch the world go by

Our peaceful week

Yarrawonga Cottage is modern, well equipped and attractively presented. Its rural setting with occasional kangaroos and flocks of rosella and cockatoo, magpies and butcher birds, is delightful. We enjoyed meeting the property's owners and their pets - a treat for guests!

Had a fantastic stay at Yarrawonga Park Cottage. It had all the basics and extra (my husband loved the fridge that makes ice, I absolutely enjoyed farm fresh eggs 😄), was super clean and well maintained property in a very convenient location. If you are visiting Mudgee - it’s a great place to stay and we highly recommend it. Thank you

Fabulous Stay, highly recommended

Such a lovely clean cottage we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some lovely extra surprises left by the owners for us to enjoy, we loved the red wine, fresh eggs, milk, drinks and great coffee machine. Such a quiet location with plenty of room for our dog to roam around safely. Easy quick 5 mins drive into town. We will definitely be back when in Mudgee. Thank you to Robyn & Darryl for a fabulous stay (5 stars).

Perfect little retreat for a small family or couple.

Lovely little cottage off the beaten track but close to everything in Mudgee. It was really nice to open your windows to Native birds, Ducks and Kangaroos rather than cars every morning. Fresh eggs every day from the chickens was a nice touch too. Kevin the Pig and the cows (Mumma and Bubba) provided much entertainment for the children. The owners Robyn and Darryl were really friendly and accommodating with any additional needs. Highly recommended if you can book it, its very popular and for good reason too!

Great location on acreage yet a whisper away from town. Newly built and spotlessly clean property.

Spotlessly clean and newly built cottage on family acreage. Perfect set up for family with a neat little verandah well appointed to watch a sunset over the dam. We collected farm fresh eggs from the chooks on the property and enjoyed them for breakfast. Our puppy loved exploring the property. The hosts were very thoughtful with a few creature comforts in the cottage that made us feel very welcomed for a comfortable stay. Wished we could have managed a longer visit.

Blissful country retreat

Robyn and Darryl were the perfect hosts of this immaculate cottage in a stunning and an idyllic setting. Our puppy loved the freedom running around the fenced off grounds and watching the kangaroos and meeting Kevin the pig. The cottage provided everything you could need including the thoughtful extras; fresh eggs, complimentary wine, toiletries and wireless phone chargers. Everything has been thought through in fine detail to make the guests feel very welcomed. Book today, you won’t be disappointed ❤️

Excellent country stay

The environment was excellent, communication superb. After reading the reviews I feel we missed out on the normal Darryl and Robyn hospitality as they were away. Definitely missed the spa! A dinning facility for 4 indoors would have been good. We asked for extra chairs so we could play board games, they were brought promptly. The bathroom door was definitely an issue and was reported in September! With a couple of minor alterations I would give the stay 5 out of 5.

Best of both worlds

We just spent 3 nights here and we’re very impressed. It is a brand new cottage on a rural property on the edge of town so you are relatively isolated yet within 10 minutes of the centre of town. The facilities are well thought out, with essential kitchen food supplies, new appliances, excellently fitted out bathroom with shower gels etc and comfortable beds. There is a large covered deck with comfortable furniture to enjoy the rural outlook and a huge private spa pool with easy to operate controls. The owners Robyn and Darryl are available if you need anything and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Of special note is the pet friendly features which include non carpeted floors and acres of fenced well grassed lawns which our dog loved. We would definitely return here to enjoy the many attractions of the Mudgee area

Few properties have this impact on me during and after the stay. We loved everything! Hosts Robyn and Darryl were amazing! The cottage was so clean, and bright and spacious. The view from the balcony, and from every window is beautiful! We spent a lot of time at the cottage as it was so relaxing and peaceful. Robyn fed the animals, and this was a highlight. We loved all the animals, they are all so interesting. We definitely want to go back, and can't stop telling people about it.

Weekend in Mudgee

We had a really great time staying at Yarrawonga Park Cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The instructions on how to get to the cottage were clear and straight forward. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The cottage felt like the perfect distance from town. I highly recommend this accomodation and will happily rebook next time we are in Mudgee. Thank you Daryl and Robyn!

Idyllic location

What a beautiful place to stay!! the cottage was lovely & clean. there were eggs in the fridge & all the kitchen utensils for us to have our own cooked brekkie. We ate out on the deck and got to enjoy peace & quiet on a glorious sunny weekend. Arlo our little dog had the best time & saw kangaroos & cows and & pig (Kevin) for the first time. He also thoroughly enjoyed playing with Buddy the puppy. Kim was lovely & made sure we were comfortable & had everything ready for a wonderful weekend : ) We can't wait to go back cheers Peter and Midge

Family getaway

Our family enjoyed our time at the cottage, beautiful views, excellent location and decent cottage. Robyn and Darryl are wonderful hosts and were great with our kids providing them interactive activities with the animals. We left the property with new memories and sad to say goodbye. They’ll be the first to know when we return.

Country breakaway

Near new cottage was stacked with goodies and was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable for two couples and sitting on the front deck enjoying our morning coffee and evening drinks was glorious! The night sky was stunning - an uninterrupted view of the Milky Way. The animals on the property were interesting little characters and the fresh eggs we revived were a happy bonus. Mudgee is a lovely friendly town with lots to do.
