Eastry House is an attractive and exceptional apartment situated within a 5 minute walk of Mullins Beach on the sort after platinum / west coast, located in the Parish of Saint Peter. Its close proximity to all interconnecting highways allows you the ideal opportunity to also explore the North, South and East coasts of this most enchanting of Caribbean Islands.

The Apartment is strategically placed between Holetown; a tourist hub, and Speightstown, with its colonial architectural features and fine dining. Nestling majestically in one of the most prestigious and exclusive postcodes in Barbados, the West Coast is home to many of the most stunning beaches that Barbados has to offer.

This upper floor apartment is situated within a quiet private development incorporating 8 individual properties. It offers a stunning panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and the magnificent sunset is a sight to behold.

There is a shared communal pool within the gardens.

The apartment has two spacious bedrooms which are fully air conditioned with additional ceiling fans for added comfort and comfortably sleeps 4 guests. Both bedrooms have King size beds. In the second bedroom the bed can be split into 2 singles for flexible living. Each bedroom has ample storage and wardrobes. Both have ensuite bathrooms. Please note that the apartment is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.

The open planned lounge has comfortable seating, with a dining table and chairs. This opens out onto a private balcony and panoramic views of the Caribbean. The balcony has a further table and chairs for alfresco dining. The kitchen is fully fitted with all necessary amenities such as an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, blender, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. It has every amenity required for a self-catering vacation.

The grounds are spacious and lends itself to outdoor living within tropical, well-maintained gardens.

A weekly Housekeeping service is included. This incorporates cleaning, change of towels, bed linen etc. Additional housekeeping service can be secured at an extra cost.

My husband and I are very frequent travelers (4x per year) & we have never written a negative review for lodge. This is our first! We had a night flight and arrived at the Magnificent around 10:00pm. We were having difficulty accessing the lockbox. We called the house manager, Marcia & she did not pick up the phone. She did not call us back that night. She showed up the next morning at around 7:45 beating down the door. Her first comment wasn’t “sorry that I missed your call last night.” It was, “I go to bed early.” I thought that was insensitive but not a big deal. The toilet in the guest room clogged after the 1st use & would not flush & we discovered that our bed lining was soiled. This is where everything went downhill. We were told by housekeeping to throw the soiled tissue in the garbage. Housekeeping also told us that she is not coming back to fix the toilet because she lives across town. I protested & told them that under no circumstances are we throwing soiled tissue in a garbage can on our 7 day stay. Housekeeping went on to say, “that’s how we do it here.” I was waiting for the house manager to interject & say, “we will fix it” but she chimed in to explain that the toilets are American made & more narrow than usual! She also said, the linen is only soiled because of suntan lotion & it will not come out.I insisted that they give us clean linen immediately. The AC continued to leak water. They sent someone to fix it the next day but it continued to leak.

Perfect little holiday
Eastry Gardens is a quaint little cluster of six smaller homes with an amazing view of the ocean. We really enjoyed the vista from the upper balcony of the apartment. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and great that each couple had their own bathroom. The apartment has everything needed for cooking in as well as a short walk to some very good restaurants. Perfect central location so we could travel by rental car to every side of the island and attractions with ease. Marcia was an excellent host and was able to help problem solve a problem with the AC extremely quickly. She was always just a text away and was present for both a warm welcome and departure. We look forward to our next visit to Barbados and would strongly recommend #5 Eastry.

Super apartment, clean and spacious, very comfortable beds, ample storage , and balcony with the most amazing view. Pleasant neighbours and owners and Marcia was very helpful and attentive. Location very peaceful but close to beach and other amenities. Would definitely recommend and return.

Wonderful apartment in Mullins.
We enjoyed the most wonderful stay at Eastry Gardens. This treasure of a property is walking distance to the beach with a bit of a hill that our 5 year old managed it with ease. The benefit of the elevated position means you gain a wonderful and rare sea view. The additional gain from the location is the peace and quiet you only get by being set back from the busy coastal road. It was really well appointed and stylish inside and out. Beach chairs, great little pool, big fridge freezer, great water pressure, huge comfortable beds, beach towels, visiting monkeys and more. Really everything you need. Marcia the property manager is very approachable and knowledgble. She kindly arranged taxis, car hire and did a welcome shop for us in addition to aswering any questions. The residents of Eastry Gardens are a truly wonderful collective; incredibly friendly and welcoming with a wealth of local knowledge. The whole place has such a happy vibe about it. Mullins itself is a great area and our favourite beach was Thunder Bay where Joy rents out daybeds really reasonably and her mum whips up beautiful pina colada and other delights. Def worth a visit. Whenever we drove around the island we were always so pleased to have found this apartment and the Mullins area as nothing we saw topped it. Our happy place was a lazy breakfast, chilling on the balcony watching the light play of the sun on the sea and the monkeys and their entertaining antics. Could happily stay forever!

We had a spectacular getaway holiday at Eastry House. This is a wonderful location off the highway and a short walk to Mullins Beach. The view from the balcony, where we spent most of our indoor time, is spectacular. The beds are wonderfully comfortable.We rented a car for a few days but mostly took the local buses everywhere. The apartment itself is fully equipped and has everything you would need to cook should you be so inclined. If you shop at Jordan’s Grocery in Speightstown they will deliver your groceries back to your unit. Marcia was great and very helpful with local recommendations. Our whole time here went off without a hitch. The pool is a great spot to cool off after a day of exploring the island. We met a number of other residents in this small 6 unit complex and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The street heading up to the unit has an incline that might affect those with mobility issues but our group ( 50’s and 60’s) had no issues with it. We had an A-1 experience- highly recommended it.

Perfect week for 2 couples at Magnicient
We just returned home from this wonderful 2nd story 2 large bedroom, 2 bath Villa with the most gorgeous panoramic view of the ocean from our balcony. Everything as described! We really enjoyed watching the monkeys daily, the sailboats cruise by and the short walk to Mullins Beach! The clean, refreshing pool was great for relaxing around as we’re the lush grounds. It was a treat to stay here with our friends and will certainly be back, thank you to all our hosts!!

The perfect property and location
We had a wonderful stay. The property is in a fabulous location - 7 mins walk down to Mullins beach with plenty of restaurants close by. It has everything you need in the property and it was immaculately clean. The bed was so comfy and everything was in perfect condition. The pool is a lovely size just for cooling down- we had it to ourselves all but once. The icing on the cake is the view of the sea - we spent so much time on the balcony just chilling and enjoying the view. Marcia the property manager was so attentive both before and during our stay - she is just lovely and definitely the best property manager we have come across in our numerous trips to Barbados. The owners are also wonderful and were so helpful when we did our booking. If we come back and need a rental, then this is where we would go.
