“The hotel is pretty run down. We stayed in a corner room on the bottom floor. It had a balcony but there are pidgeons living there. They were noisy and there was poo all over. The room has no AC so we had to ask for a fan. You hear all the noise of people walking above. The bar and restaurant upstairs were very nice and the staff was very accomodating.”

Das Zimmer lag direkt an einer Straße, es war unangenehm laut und sehr hellhörig. Die Fenster im Gästehaus entsprechen nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard. Eine Großbaustelle neben dem Gästehaus und direkt gegenüber vom Hotel sorgten für zusätzlichen Lärm.”

"It was quite far away from Groningen train station (around 25 mins walk), but the bus service was convenient. The room was clean. However, the toilet lid was broken and couldn't be fixed despite the front desk was informed. As compensation, I was offered complimentary breakfast which offered a wide variety of food and drink options."
