This is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen. Very authentic, luxurious and elegant. Great people and staff. Right on the beach and excellent place to relax and unwind.

Chedi Muscat

This is a terrific hotel with several restaurants and pools , great service and lots of places to enjoy the sun . The beach is not great and the food is very overpriced but we still enjoyed it .

This is a very special hotel where you feel looked after to the highest level. The staff are superb and the pools and gardens stunning. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the club facilities. We ate in all the restaurants in the hotel and all were exceptional. Some areas of the bedrooms felt a little tired and the beach was not the most picturesque but this would be the only negative I could find and would not warrant awarding less than 5*

Your own palace in Muscat

Paradise in Middle East. Just a amazing hotel with fantastic pools and location on the beach. Like walking in a royal palace. Staff is super friendly. Recommend room with club lounge or suite as it gives you a lot included. Bring your own wine as it is very expensive in Oman. Would encourage the hotel to have staff clean the private beach each morning for plastic waste.

From the first moment of our arrival we received an excellent service. All the staff was extremely attentive and nice. Especially Husam made us feel very welcome and gave us some insights into the country and the Omani culture. Also Milet and Marvel from the restaurant excelled with their friendliness. Even by the pool we were provided with lots of icy water, our glasses were constantly refilled. We really enjoyed our stay at The Chedi as all our expectations were exceeded. Unsurpassable hospitality!

Considering the hotel's reputation and pricing we were quite disappointed with the quality of the food served at the restaurant, beach pool bar and in-room dining. Generally the hotel felt overpriced for what it is. We had a better experience when visiting the hotel few years ago

- The rooms are small - the bed is very small - The toilet doesn’t have a proper door but a frosted glass door that doesn’t shut completely. - Check-in was very slow + The premises are stunning, three beautiful pools and lovely decor Overall not worth the €600 per night since the rooms are small and don’t have a proper bathroom

Where to even start. First and for most the staff. From the reception to the mangers to the gardeners every single person intact with or just pass by was excellent. The place itself - was brilliant - I literally could be here all day pointing out all the great things. It’s a must for everyone. If you do stay here wound deffo recommend hiring a car as you are in the city and there are the most amazing places to visit in Oman in the rural side.

We decided to stay at the Chedi in Muscat and it was one of the best experiences in my life. We were upgraded and the suite was exceptional Ali g with the care the staff showed us. The property was STUNNING, it’s quiet and tranquil what I would expect from a Chedi. The long pool was the perfect temperature and the gym was also fully equipped with great equipment. Breakfast was great, good options and all super tasty! Very accessible to the sights and shopping malls, taxis are very affordable. My only minor grumble was the internet it was patchy and this may be due to the heat, but it was irritating.

Had a really good time at The Chedi. Got a free room upgrade upon arrival which was nice. One of the best things about it was the cleanliness of the entire property, room etc. minimal bugs too. The only down side when it came to cleanliness was that I think the pools could be cleaned a bit more regularly as we did sometimes find things in the pool but this is to be expected to some degree as it’s by the seaside too. Breakfast was amazing, top tier and couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast and the staff service was very good. The only other downside was that you have to take the hotel taxi if you want the taxi to pick you up from right outside the front door, this is problematic as the hotel taxis (Marhaba) are at least double the price of the normal Otaxi you can get elsewhere. To get an Otaxi, the taxi drivers must wait outside the hotel premises as they are fined if they enter the main pickup area which means you have to walk out a few minutes to get that taxi which isn’t too much of an issue but not ideal.
