Nous avons séjourné quatre nuits dans cet hôtel lors de notre visite à San Sebastián. L’hôtel est bien situé, à environ 20 minutes de marche de la vieille ville. Le quartier est agréable et compte plusieurs excellents restaurants, souvent moins achalandés que ceux du centre. Le gros point négatif concerne notre chambre, qui dégageait une très forte odeur d’égouts, accentuée lorsque la climatisation fonctionnait. L’odeur était si intense qu’elle nuisait réellement à notre confort. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, mais l’hôtel était complet et cela n’a pas été possible. Nous avons alors demandé une compensation financière en raison des désagréments, en mentionnant que nous envisagions même de changer d’hôtel. Malheureusement, nous n’avons obtenu une réponse qu’à la toute fin de notre séjour. La seule compensation offerte a été une réduction de 10 %. Au moment d’écrire cet avis, aucun remboursement n’a toutefois été effectué. Il reste donc à voir si cette compensation sera réellement appliquée. C’est décevant, car un problème aussi important aurait mérité une prise en charge plus rapide et un geste commercial plus significatif.

Missing a trash can in the room

A disappointing experience - written by my husband who was the one who stays at this hotel Spent a night in the Artist Gran hotel of Arts on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. I booked a room with queen size bed (indicating preference on high floor), but was given a DOUBLE bed for 3rd floor. As for the view, Smart Inner View means facing the window of your neighbor (welcome back to the dormitory in the Albergue!). An experience certainly not to be repeated. Get yourself an hotel with better service. You deserve better!
