We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan. The staff were amazing and treated us very special. We also enjoyed a fantastic multi course dinner and a full breakfast while we were there… both excellent
A really great overnight stay in a traditional Ryokan including a private Onsen and a 10 course meal.
The staff were really attentive and the free lift to and from Obuse station worked really well.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Ko and his wife treated us like family. His English was excellent. The food and scenery were unforgettable.
Absolutely a beautiful Ryokan a short drive away from Nagano. Upon arriving you are greeted with a welcome coffee/tea, and the staff are all extremely pleasant. I recommend doing both dinner and breakfast as the kaiseki course for both is amazing. For dinner we had sashimi, Shabu Shabu, fried fish among many other dishes. Their breakfast is amazing and healthy too with yogurt, granola, shabu soup, and many other buffet options.
There are many onsen in the area with 3 being in the hotel itself. 2 of the onsen need to be reserved and are private with one large public onsen. The view from the two which need to be reserved are amazing
