Located on a quiet cul-de-sac near 60 acres of State Forest land and in close proximity to South Shore beaches, Mid-Island shopping/restaurants, bike path and Town, 9R Bayberry Lane is a private, newly-constructed property on 0.53 acres that features a 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath main house, a cabana/garage with sleeping loft and a pool/hot tub situated between the two. The kitchen features Wolf, Subzero, and Bosch appliances with custom cabinetry and a large center island. Throughout the house and cabana you'll find shiplap walls, cathedral ceilings, exposed wood beams, Sonos, two washers/dryers and a home gym on three floors of open-concept, finished living space. The beautifully landscaped outdoor area includes a heated saltwater pool and hot tub with automatic cover set in a large, private backyard. First Floor Description The first level of the main house includes a gorgeous living room space with great natural light, a shiplap cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace with TV mounted overhead, and sliding doors that offer access to the back deck and pool area. A dining room with built-in wet bar, wine/beverage refrigerator, ice maker, and custom cabinetry is situated between the living room and a modern, open kitchen which features high-end appliances, a large marble-top island with seating for six, walk-in pantry and additional access with line of sight to the deck and pool area. A large mudroom with washer/dryer, built-in cubbies, and storage sits just off the kitchen. Rounding out the first floor is an office, powder room, and a primary bedroom with en-suite bath. Second Floor Description A custom oak staircase with horizontal cable railing system leads to the second primary bedroom, which offers a sitting area, en-suite bathroom with soaking tub, and a private deck balcony overlooking the pool and manicured grounds. Two additional, spacious en-suite bedrooms are located on this level both furnished with queen beds. Lower Floor Description Additional living space is located downstairs and includes a TV/game room with a built-in wet bar and an undercounter wine/beverage refrigerator. Around the corner is a bunkroom, equipped with two pairs of custom-built, full-over-queen bunk beds, and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks. A queen guest bedroom and a private home gym completes the lower level of the main house. Cottage Adjacent to the main house is a pool cabana/garage with access to the backyard patio and pool area. The air-conditioned pool cabana has a spacious family room with a wet bar/undercounter beverage refrigerator/ice maker and a sleeping loft with a full size bed. There is also a washer/dryer and powder room which connects to the outdoor shower. This secondary structure also contains a garage for storage and parking a vehicle. Outdoor Space The spacious, professionally landscaped backyard creates a private oasis with an 18'x36' heated, saltwater pool, hot tub, and outdoor shower. The outdoor space also features a large deck with dining furniture, a gas grill, fire pit area, and speakers optimized especially for Sonos, making it the perfect spot for al fresco dining, entertaining, and lounging. Our hosts’ home is immaculate and has everything you want for a luxury stay on Nantucket. The house is great for kids and enjoying family time. The location is convenient to great restaurants, workout facilities, top notch markets and a drive away from the best beaches on the island. Not a detail has been overlooked and the house is nicely outfitted so you can pack less. We can’t wait to go back! The hosts and caretaker respond within seconds. We booked this property with another family, traveling with our young kids. It was most of the group's first time on Nantucket. Everything about this property was incredible - the house was sparkling clean and organized upon arrival. We love to cook, and the kitchen was well-stocked with any appliance or gadget you could want. The interior design of the house was beautiful, and the layout of the main house was perfect for 2-3 families, with space to bring additional childcare with the detached guesthouse. The location was ideal - 10-15 minutes driving from almost anywhere you'd want to go on the island, and walking distance to grocery stores and some great restaurants and an excellent park for kids. Both the owner and property manager were beyond helpful with any questions we had about the house or Nantucket, both before and during our trip.
