Rates are based on number of occupants, holidays and length of stay. We are one of the most reviewed cottages with a 5-star rating in the Sebago Lake Region!

Please ask us about our sister property if you don't see the week available or the price you want.

We recently added a hardwood floor to the upstairs bedroom, refinished the living room hardwood floor, renovated the kitchen, and added granite countertops. Want to indulge in some lobster while visiting? We will provide information on getting the freshest and cheapest lobster and will provide the lobster pot!

The location is quiet and relaxing for families, couples, and friends reuniting. Sebago Lake is a 20-minute boat ride from the cottage. The cottage's dock can secure a boat, swim, and fish. The enclosed porch overlooks the 50 feet of waterfront. The porch is a great place to sip coffee and cozy up with a book. Boat landings are nearby. Within a few minutes by car are several marinas that rent watercrafts for personal use. A canoe and kayak with life jackets are on-site. You can also take a boat from the cottage to Songo River, Brandy Pond, and Long Lake.

The location is also less than 3 miles from an 18-hole golf course. The cottage rental allows you free access to the Sebago Lake State Park and Beach. The State Park Beach has a sandy bottom and its entrance is 3 miles from the cottage.

The cottage is located less than an hour from popular tourist areas such as Oxford Casino in Oxford, Portland, Freeport and North Conway!

Testimonials from renters:

Mollie from Manhattan- We loved it! I can't wait to come back again. Thanks so much for your hospitality. I thought it was great - close to Portland, lots of lakes, great that the water is just a few steps away. I've already recommended to several friends.

Dagny, Don and Bathsheba from Barbados- My husband and I took a decade long dream come true fishing trip with his two sons at this lovely cottage. Very clean and comfortable, charming and accommodating hosts. We can't wait to return and bring the wives and grandkids.

Anna from MA- We had a great time thank you. If we go on vacation next year, we would like to stay again. I will keep the address in my save box.

Mike from RI- Thanks. We had a great time at the cottage. The area is beautiful and the cottage was perfect. Thankfully, we had great weather. Hopefully we'll be up again next year.

Dayna from MA- Just wanted to let you know that we had a good time over the weekend...exactly what we needed. The cottage was great. We hope to make another trip back sometime.

Laurie from MA at Christmas- Our family of four enjoyed the beautiful lake location and enjoyed the warmth on the piney wood on the inside. Our winter vacation allowed days of jammies and tea as well as local excursion incuding tubing, ice skating, antiquing and museum hopping. It was delightful to be able to cook great meals and enjoy the luxury of the wilderness.

The three bedroom cottage can hold up to six people. The cottage has several amenities you may not find at all vacation rentals. It has a dock, grill, canoe, kayak, stove, enclosed porch, and a campfire area with firewood. A spiral staircase takes you to one of the bedrooms. Pets are welcomed and there is a walking area on the grounds.

Upon your arrival, the cottage has such supplies as toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, trash bags, common kitchen spices, dish towels, matches, firewood, first aid kit, fire extinguisher and flashlights. Renters must provide their own linens and towels for bathing. Two beds are queen size and one bed is full size. The kitchen was updated in 2020. The cottage has several board games and two televisions. One television has over-air broadcast, Roku and dvd. The other television has over-air and dvd.

The area is truly a four season delight! In the summer, many vacationers visit the Lake Region to fish, boat, sightsee, kayak, canoe, and just relax on one of the many bodies of water. In the fall, the region is known for wonderful fall foliage. Hunters visit to hunt for various game such as deer and turkey. In the winter, vacationers come for the snow for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing.

The cottage is a 30 minute drive to Pleasant Mountain, 40 minute drive to Oxford Casino, 45 minute drive to Lost Valley, 45 minute drive to the ocean and an hour drive to Sunday River Mountain. During all four seasons, anglers of all ages fish for such species as landlocked salmon, bass, lake trout, and brook trout. A unique feature of the area is the Songo Locks, one of the last remaining functioning locks to connect two bodies of water in Maine.

We are a pet-friendly rental that does not charge extra for pets. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors, but smoking is allowed outside. A security deposit is required to occupy the house and is due upon arrival. The deposit amount is based on the length of stay and number of occupants. The security deposit is up to $350 per week. For security deposit, VRBO payment, Paypal with a fee, checks, and cash are accepted. Reservations are fully refunded if canceled with more than 60 days' notice.

Cancellation Policy: Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

Total relaxation
Kyle was helpful and easy to commit with, his wife was very pleasant as we met her at checkin. The weather was cool and damp but had plenty of time by the fire and dock. It had new stairs and hand rails, easy to get on and off. Cabin was comfy and all the utilities were on point. Going to do it again!

It is a lovely cabin on the river. Being a bit past prime summer, it was probably quieter than usual which was exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely keep it in mind for the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking to "get away".

Our Naples Getaway
Lovely, quiet spot. Owner was very accommodating. Loved having the amenities needed for onsite cooking. We couldn't use the canoe and kayak, as they were very heavy to lift, and the stairs going down to the dock were very rickety (sorry). River water really isn't a place you would swim (deep and murky). Overall, we had a great stay, though. We did a crossword puzzle on the porch while enjoying our coffee and the view of the river. Plenty to do. Went to Oxford casino, shopped at the local markets, and farm stands (amazing tomatoes and corn). We had two rainy days, and that was fine; we went to the flea markets, and thrift stores, on those days. The point sebago lake park was great...clean water, a snack bar, and bathrooms. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Picturesque cottage
The cabin was very cozy. It was warm and inviting. The porch was really comfortable and allowed us to enjoy nature even when it was raining. Love the fire pit! Great location, sitting by the water was so relaxing. Really beautiful area. We had a great time. Kyle was helpful and things were clearly marked in the cabin, so that was helpful. The second floor bedrooms were a little difficult to get to (we are a group of people over 55)--steep, narrow staircases, but if you're young and spry this won't be a problem. I recommend this vacation cottage!
