Unfortunately, adherence to pandemic hygiene rules is not monitored at all in the boardinghouse and only so-so in the hotel, which made any passing through the stairways and/or elevator feel inherently unsafe. "Schöner einwöchiger Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung. Wetter, Ferienwohnung und Strand entsprachen unseren Vorstellungen. Nicht über alle kleineren Mängel kann man aber hinwegsehen. So waren die Stühle auf dem Balkon verrostet, es fehlten dort leider ein Sonnenschutz sowie ein Wäscheständer und bei der Sauberkeit ist noch Luft nach oben. We were not expecting to be required to bring our own towels although when reading the advert note that it did not specify that towels were provided. "Die Ferienwohnung ist ausreichend für 2-3 Personen, modern möbliert. Auch das Bad ist sehr sauber und groß. Die Einweisung führte das nette Ehepaar persönlich durch. Es gab eine Mappe mit Hinweisen zum Ort und Ausflügen. Wir haben nur 2x gekocht, aber alles an Geschirr, Geräten usw ist ausreichend im guten Zustand vorhanden. Wir können diese Fewohnung sehr gern weiter empfehlen. "

"Spacious but not cozy. Basic dated holiday rental. No Wi-fi, bathrooms old fashioned with one cracked sink. Lacking in kitchen basics - only one tea towel, only one baking tray. Was advertised with towels. But NO towels were provided and had to purchased some at extra of our own. No washing up liquid provided, no small extras included so difficult for visitors flying in. No spare bed linen. Rear patio space (not a garden) was tiny and overlooked by the neighbours - no privacy. Poor communication...

"The hotel has a great location. You can get by foot to the town centre in about 15 minutes and the beaches around the hotel are way less crowded than in other parts. There is also a bus station close by that will get you to Binz station as well as surrounding towns and the Rasender Roland. The hotel itself is surprisingly large with a lot of amenities on offer that we didn't have time to check, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as fun activities within the hotels perimeters....

"Beautiful spa with amazing facilities. The buffet which was €27 was absolutely delicious and very well priced. The people that work are very helpful and courteous. I don't 5 star often at all and I have reviewed over 200 hotels and resorts but this one deserves the ratings. Be aware though some of the paperwork says 10am checkout but it is actually 11am. Again absolutely wonderful people throughout. Also spa prices for wellness were very reasonable. "
