“Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. “Good location, not too busy, clean, very friendly owners and staff. Sea is 3 minute walk away. A local archaeological museum is only 30 minute walk away on top of the mountain(great views). It was more peaceful/relaxed option than staying in Palermo. If you travel by public transport, it might be inconvenient at times. There is not bus to Palermo and trains can only stop locally every 60-90 minutes. ”
