Large room, perfect for us and our daughter to share, with a huge stone terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs, looking directly at the mountains. Wonderful horse-riding close by and hiking directly from the parador. Delightful staff in the restaurant and fantastic regional food."
"Excellent location if you like hiking - the mountains and countryside were on the doorstep. Run by an enthusiastic and very genial ornithologist. Slight miscommunication on check in that cost us an extra €20 which was unforeseen and a little annoying but we were happy to pay it. Service from staff was exceptional and the food served in the bar was delicious. TV didn’t work in the bedroom and a fan would have been welcome as it was hot when we stayed. "

Hotel Rural Mirador de Solana"The owners were exceptionally polite. The beds were so very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were terrific. We felt very welcome. There was a little language barrier but using translator with them worked perfectly. We wanted to see the real parts of Spain, this was the adventure we wanted. I recommend renting car and travel the differ cities. This hotel is definitely a 10."
