The bathroom also had everything a traveller could.posisbly need. It was also very easy to find and the reception staff were always eager to help. The breakfast was also good, in taste and variety. The only downside was the staff in the restaurant. I waited long periods and noone wanted to approach me, however I watched them talking to and serving indian customers very quickly. It made me feel very uncomfortable, as it felt like they clearly had double standards for me as a foreigner." So helpful, they even walked me in the neighborhood to help me with shopping. The food they got me was excellent. They also helped me figure out how to get where I was going. And to get a taxi. Siliguri in itself is kind of a sketchy area, but it's inexpensive. And they are trying to make the hotel kind of an oasis in the midst. They were doing quite a bit of renovating while I was there, trying to make it really nice. Again, the best part was the staff who were just so good and responsive."
