  • Best location with views from the South facing over Burriana Beach and the Mediterranean. Large terrace with room for several seating areas, sunbeds etc. Upgraded with new furniture. The property itself has a well equipped lounge / dining room, serviced by a well fitted kitchen, washing machine, iron, security safe etc etc. Many people prefer this apartment for long term rent because of the well equipped kitchen, large terrace and sunny conditions.
    Completely renovated. Spacious and cozy apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Located in one of the most picturesque residential areas of Nerja, hanging from the cliff overlooking the popular beach of Burriana. Kitchen: Eat well furnished and equipped with fridge freezer, vitro ceramic oven, microwavw oven, coffemaker, electric kettle, toaster and varied cooking utensils. Eating area seats four. Lounge: Very bright. Air condition in both bedrooms and lounge. Magnificent sea views, Burriana beach, mountains and other urbanization. Private terrace: Very wide 52 sqv. m. Magnificent views. Sun from morning untill evening. Not many apartments in Capistrano Playa have such good sunny conditions! Especially convenient during winter when you can enjoy sun and warmth in the afternoon and evening when the rest of the complex is in shade. Outside shower that will refresh while taking pleasant sunbathing. The furniture in the terrace will allow you to take relaxing sunbathing. A lovely lounge and high standard furniture on the terrace. Bedroom 1: Double bed, bedside table and wardrobe. Balconera access to the main terrace. Go to sleep listening to the waves from the Mediterranean! Magnificent views. Bedroom 2: 2 single beds, bedside table and wardrobe. Bathroom: With bath.A highlight: It is located on the upper part of urbanization so enjoying stunning views. Easy access from garage, almost no stairs. It's sunny all day, both winter and summer.
    Pool: The resort has 2 different campuses. In one of them is the pool for young children. The main pool is located on the terrace that surrounds the restaurant. The terraces around the pools are spacious and sunny. Ideal for taking long sunbathing. Find umbrellas and sun loungers.
    Parking: Underground parking reserved for residents. Security: The security guards work every day. Distance from the beach: Walk trough a beautiful garden to the beach, restaurants, shops etc. Note! Many stairs since the complex is situated right on top of the beach. If you want to drive, you are at the beach in less than 2 mn, and will not have to cross the town. But if what you want is to forget the stress of the year, you have chosen the right place, and you will not have to use your car, you can access the beach via a staircase running through the lush tropical gardens of the resort. Supermarket: Supersol is just 5mn drive. It is open from Monday to Saturday (summer also open on Sundays) from 9 am to 9 pm. Offers free home delivery. Burriana Beach: Wide selection of restaurants, cafes and bars. Dive Center. Water activities varied. Rental of sun loungers. Nerja Center: Only 15-20 mn walk to Balcon De Europa.

A lovely apartment with stunning views over Burriana Beach. Very peaceful at night which made us feel very relaxed and chilled out.The property was spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfortable - slept like a baby !Lovely waking up in the morning to the Nerja sunshine.Location is excellent, only a short walk down the garden path to the main restaurants and bars. Very convenient location as it is also close to the lovely pool area.Can't wait to rebook, definitely returning here !

Air conditioning in all rooms was nice. A lot of steps from Beach level up to apartment so be prepared for a bit of exercise but if reasonably fit it will not be a problem. Very limited indoor seating and not many english channels on TV so remember you log in details for alternative TV viewing platforms.

We had a fantastic week at Chimenea. The apartment is in a superb location with an amazing terrace which gets the sun all day. Comfortable sun loungers, great bbq and all you need for outdoor living. Inside the apartment is quite spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.We have stayed on Capistrano Playa a few times and this has got to be one of the best located apartments. We will definitely return!!

Lovely position overlooking the beach.Quiet area and no traffic noise.Apartments and resort is low key and no loud music or loud bars. Families and couples.Large terrace with awning and chairs/tables etc.Air con great in each room.Pool is lovely, better than expected.Note there are Lots of steps to and from the apartment- to the beach and pool. You need to be able to cope with these!!Chair cushions outside showing lots of wear, and tear. Difficult due to the sun fading them, But suggest they need covers renewed at the beginning of each season to keep them their best.

Lovely time in a lovely location

Great apartment for a short stay for the 2 of us, terrace was bigger than most and had wonderful views. Inside the layout was spacious and gave us the opportunity to eat in or out.Loved the pool and bar upstairs, and also the proximity to the beach.We would definitely come back!

Enjoyable stay in Nerja

For us the location was perfect. The appartment complex was quiet but within a few minutes walk we were near several good restaurants and bars and of course the beach.

Stay in Nerja

We absolutely love staying here. It’s such a wonderful place to be able to walk to everything! The beach is gorgeous and the people are so nice and we all love the pool. It was relaxing and Anne was a wonderful correspondent in advance.. We really recommend staying here if you’re looking for relaxing and beach and fun and lots of opportunities nearby.

Apartment was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Also, the view from the terrace was spectacular. However, there are 2 issues not disclosed in the property description: #1. The road near the apartment is currently closed for repairs, which prevents buses and Ubers from accessing the property. Therefore, guests renting this apartment need to rent a car. #2. There is a lily pond in the center of the apartment complex that attracts MANY mosquitoes. We left the screen-less windows open the first night and I received more than 30 mosquito bites. We were not able to leave the windows open for the remainder of our stay.

Wonderful views and exceptional apartment

We have stayed in Nerja for the last 15 years and this was the best place we have stayed as a family. The balcony and view is incredible on enough to reccomend on its own! The apartment was excellent as well , with a great kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. Really clean and homely space. The living area is small, but with that view and that balcony, who needs it!! Brilliant support and service from the owners and on site from Isobel. We love Capistrano Playa and will be trying to book this apartment again next year. Thank you for such a brilliant base for our magical holiday.

Underbart boende. Utsikten från den stora terrassen var magisk. Låg nära Playa Burriana och man gick genom en fantastisk trädgård som hörde till boendet. Garage fanns att tillgå alldeles bredvid, Återkommer gärna!

Perfect for a holiday with children

Apartment is close to the garage and the swimming pool. Very nice view from the large terrace! Despite the fact that it is a large complex, there was no noise in the evening and you could hear the sea from the terrace. To get to the sea you have to brave some stairs, but there is a nice walking path through the complex

Schöne Wohnung mit traumhafter Terrasse. Sollte man die Wohnung mit 4 Personen belegen, könnte es bei schlechtem Wetter recht eng werden. Es gibt leider nur ein 2er Sofa und ansonsten die Barhocker am Küchentresen. Das Bad ist sehr einfach und hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. We had a 10 night stay and had a fab holiday. The apartment was very clean and modern with everything needed for a comfortable stay, the air con was much appreciated! It was incredibly hot during our stay and we found the terrace retained a lot of heat but it is a great space with a fantastic view and furniture to enjoy it, facilities all as described. There is a lovely pond with fish and turtles on the complex on the way down to the beach which is less than a 10 min walk (quite a few steps back up!). The pool area was lovely with drinks and food available and a toddler pool on a lower level. The complex was very well kept and tidy. There is a lot of restaurants and shops in the area. We would recommend this apartment, Nerja is a great location for a relaxing holiday, no car needed. Anne also very kindly allowed us a later check out due to later flights which was very appreciated.

Great outdoor aspect

Great south facing spacious terrace with dining and lounging furniture all to a decent standard. Two BBQ's for those who wished to cater - a good local supermarket within 15min walk (uphill). Two decent bedrooms, Kitchen nicely equipped, small sitting area - hence the appealing outdoor space makes all the difference. Outlook over Burriana is lovely. Walk into Nerja takes about 30mins which we did most nights. An awful lot of steep steps to navigate and a bit of a climb to get to the outskirts of the town. Well worth the effort to enjoy lots of good tapas and some nice restaurants - we have been to Nerja a few times now and were able to revisit some of our favourite haunts. Overall most enjoyable - especially as the weather in late September was warm and pleasant through our stay.

Apartment as described by host and other reviews. The host communication was great. We were able to check in early which after a sleepless overnight flight from Canada was greatly appreciated. We had a car and with some road constructions was a little tricky to find the first time but once there driving to and from the apartment was easy. Parking garage had lots of spaces so not a problem for this time of year. Local restaurants by the beach were good. Walk to beach and balcony of Europe had a lot of steps to climb but well maintained and no problem for us although a bit winded going back up to the apartment after a nice meal. Local Nerja caves are a must see. Easy to drive to and a couple of euros for parking. Made the trip to the white town of Frigiliana. Nice but every town is white. We were there for 5 nights of a 2 week trip traveling around so got some food from close by Mercado supermarket for a couple dinners. YouTube, Netflix, Prime etc available to sign in on tv. Used the washing machine for a load. Use the sun to dry clothes. Nice big terrace. Can hear the waves. Some construction going on nearby. Should be completed soon and mostly just small work going on. No heavy machinery and done by 4. All and all, my wife and I would definitely stay there again.

The apartment had several serious issues that significantly impacted our stay.Most critically, the door lock was faulty — something the host was clearly aware of but never disclosed. Leaving the second set of keys in the interior lock (a common practice) caused us to be locked out after 21:00 in a foreign country. The host immediately recognized the issue, confirming prior knowledge, yet had never warned us. Resolving it required hiring someone for 90, a cost we should not bear given we were never informed of this known defect.The unit fell short of basic standards: air conditioning units had excessive mold — which caused my wife to fall ill for the remainder of the trip — no hand soap was provided, and toilet paper was limited to 2 rolls for the entire stay.We were also woken daily at 8am by extremely loud construction in the unit above — never disclosed prior to booking. Impossible to go back to sleep.Finally, the host called 5 times within 30 minutes on May 5th expecting us to allow access for painters — without any prior notice or agreement. Paying guests should not be expected to accommodate non-emergency maintenance, especially painting that creates fumes. When we didn't answer immediately, she left an urgent voicemail and texts. This felt intrusive and unreasonable.Between the undisclosed lock defect, poor cleanliness, noise, and host conduct, this stay did not reflect what was booked or advertised.

Lovely apartment in a great location

Lovely, spacious apartment with loads of outdoor space on the terrace. Good communication from our host before our stay, with clear arrival instructions. We arrived late at night and the key had been left for us in a security box attached to the office door. The complex is set in beautiful gardens which lead directly down to the beach, with plenty of beachside shops, bars and restaurants in easy reach (though there are lots of stairs!). The walk to the town itself took about 15 mins alongside the seaside path, which avoided walking up a steep hill. The apartment was really well equipped, plenty of kitchen crockery and utensils if you wanted to cook; and the dishwasher and washing machine were useful to have. The communal pool on the complex has a bar offering a good range of drinks and food. The staff here, and Isabel at reception, were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location with lovely sun terrace, but a few niggles

Well located property with a lovely sun terrace. However when we arrived the reception office was closed and the key was not in the lock box as we were told it would be. There were people in the office but they did not open the door until we called the owner. There is some nice outside furniture, but only two sunbeds both sadly in need of replacement. The outside shower tray also needs retiling, it looked so grotty we did not want to use it. At least 6 lightbulbs needed replacement and one of the ribs on the parasol was broken. The small bedroom had no curtain, we had to peg a towel up over it for privacy. All these are easy to fix but make a big difference to the experience of staying here.

Rapport qualité-prix décevant

Notre constat (photos à l'appui) : frigidaire rouillé, store de la cuisine très sale, carrelage sale, table du salon abîmée, table du salon de jardin sale et dans un état pitoyable car le rotin est complètement éventré, impossible de déjeuner dehors car pas de store juste un parasol donnant difficilement de l’ombre à 3 places maximum, store du salon de jardin déchiré, barbecue inutilisable car la grille est complètement rouillée. Tous ces « détails » font que le prix de location est beaucoup trop cher pour la médiocrité des prestations offertes. Nous avons déjà séjourné dans cette résidence dans un autre appartement pour un loyer beaucoup moins cher et des prestations "plus raffinées". Les plus de l’appartement sont : la vue bien que cachée par le mur de la terrasse lorsque l'on est assis... la piscine de la résidence, la proximité des commerces et des restaurants où l'on peut aller à pied malgré beaucoup d'escaliers à monter.
