The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. "The hotel located in the beautiful small town. It was 40mins drive from route 1. I passed thru a long tunnel which was stunning. When I found a resto to dine in everyone was looking at me. It seemed the locals did not see visitors for very long time. The sea view was perfect for one night stay. Overall the hotel was like a family owned business and the reception was always short of staffs."
"The staff was very helpful with e-mailing me ahead of time so I knew it was a long drive on a gravel road and there was no food available in the area. What I wasn't prepared for was the steep climb up a one lane road and back down. My little rental car did do just fine and then at the end wow what a view! The area was breathtaking. Im so glad I made the drive to experience this magical place."

"We stayed in a bedroom with a shared bath. The house has everything you need. We did not see the fox before leaving, so we checked with a staff member. She called the fox out, and it was super cool! Later, we saw the fox playing with the dog, which was lovely. We stayed in Iceland for 12 days, and this was the only time we saw the Arctic fox."
"The town is absolutely stunning. The Aldan restaurant was a great place to go and hangout for dinner or just drinks in the evening. The old bank where we stayed was lovely and the bed was quite comfortable, it gets very stuffy and hot, even with the windows open, a little Pricey for what you get. I would suggest maybe providing a small fan for the guests or definitely bringing one. Other than that was a good stay."
