  • We warmly welcome you to our Werraquelle guesthouse in Siegmundsburg (814 m above sea level), located in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, 500 m from the Rennsteig.
    Here’s what awaits you
    • 3 vacation homes, 7 apartments, and 2 single rooms with a total of up to 38 beds, plus 2 cribs
    • Free parking directly at the house
    • Free Wi-Fi
    • Storage space inside the building for skis, sleds, motorcycles, and bicycles
    • Rooms for family and group gatherings (must be booked separately)
    • Garden furniture
    • Lawn for sunbathing and playing
    • Upon request, our chef will prepare for you:
    Breakfast (buffet—for groups) in our breakfast room (€15 per person)
    Thuringian barbecue evening at the beer train / buffet for groups (price to be arranged, minimum number of participants) /Dinner
    Please let us know your preferences when you make your reservation

    Please arrive by 6:00 PM at the latest; otherwise, please contact us by phone in advance—thank you.

    - Glass Center in Lauscha (they also serve delicious cake with a small glass figurine as a souvenir included with your order)
    - Gold Museum in Theuern (we especially enjoyed the gold panning course)

    - the “Giftmischer” in Schmiedefeld (delicious herbal schnapps at the end of a personalized tour)
    - various castles and palaces (Coburg, Eisfeld...)
    - Various toy and doll museums (Sonneberg, Neustadt near Coburg...)
