A dishwasher and washing machine in such a small apartment were useful for a longer stay, although we didn't use the later for our 3 night break. It's really convenient for the City centre and even closer to the Millennium Stadium, although I bet prices for major events there are much higher. Cardiff is a great city and certainly cheaper than Lincoln where we live. Strongly recommend a visit. "I came in on the late ferry arriving just before midnight, expecting a room key left on the desk; nope, a sweet lady greeted me & carried my suitcase up to my room. Didn’t expect that so late in a small hotel in a small village. Room had everything I needed. They were fine with me leaving my suitcase for a while in the morning while I went for a walk. Very convenient to both the ferry & train station."
