"If you have a nostalgic idea of a cozy, woodsy cabin, this might be it – loaded with charm & very clean! Comfy furniture, lots of natural light, decorated with vintage touches, good little kitchen, screened porch, reading lamps plus a few books, games, even a radio; if this place doesn’t have it, you might not need it. Ojibway Lake is clear & small enough that it’s not noisy with some nooks & crannies to explore with the kayaks; house nestled in trees so feels private. Night temps dipped into 40s, yet we stayed warm. Such a pleasant stay!! And of course the host is nice – she’s a teacher; thank you for sharing this lovely place, Amy!!!"

"Excellent hotel! Has everything you want from a three star national chain AND nice local touches that make you feel like a guest in the Northwoods. This is the place to stay in the Walker area. Breakfast is free in the morning and snacks available at all times. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Well done! Will return!"
