The staff was awesome, even while they had limited options to help! They were always friendly and tried to be accomodating. It was sad that they had to apologize for things the ownership and corporate was not addressing. They said the hotel was scheduled for remodel 3 years ago but was not started yet. I booked through Expedia which rated this hotel higher, but it was VERY misleading! This is a low rate hotel. Ownership and corporate are not doing their part! It needs repairs, totally new linens, and adequate supplies and appliances. Our toilet was stopped up and would not flush when we arrived. The next day it worked after they plunged it, but stopped up again 2 days later. The bed skirt on one bed was ripped at the seam about 18" and dangling. A pillow case looked fine on one side, but was thin and shredded on the other side. The shower curtain was ripped at the top and dangled on the rod. The light fixture next to the bed was broken and wobbled from side to side. The ice bucket had no lid and was 1/3 full of water from a previous guest. The sofa sleeper had stains on the mattress. There were only 2 bath towels and no hand towels or wash cloths in our restroom. An exit door from the hotel had broken glass and was spidered and had clear cellophane tape on it. This is a HUGE liability issue! Trash cans in the hall were full and overflowing. The door to the pool was supposed to require a key card to enter, but it had duct tape over the plunger and the door.
