what was so unique about this property was how whimsical the rooms lobby was.

Rooms were comfortable but tiny. Very odd situation in lobby. During the day and during the week the lobby is full of people from the neighborhood conducting various business activities: interviews, conference calls, other meetings and working on laptops. Most of these folks are not staying at the hotel I was told this is a conscious effort by the hotel to engage with the surrounding community. In the meantime it was impossible to have access to a quiet area of the lobby, as a guest of the hotel, to utilize the lobby space as adjunct to the hotel room. Since the room was tiny, it would be nice to have a second area in which to read or relax. This was impossible in this hotel. Love the neighborhood but would probably stay elsewhere if returning
