POOR service, false advertisement- do not go here. This place is a garbage. Do not waste your money here. The sheets has blood and stains from human excrement all over it. The sheets had skin flakes on it. And the place reeked from cigarette smoke and feces. And the guy and the front desk was unprofessional and pretended not to know anything. It’s honestly better to sleep on the street beside a pile of garbage-that is way cleaner that inside the room. The bathroom has feces stains on the walls. Do not use the bathroom if you don’t want to get a fungus on your buttocks. There is no gym, no bar, it’s all lies. I almost had a heart attack, I was so shocked.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! FALSELY ADVERTISED!!! Everything about the write-up and pictures are incorrect, except the picture of the street view of the hotel front and the fact that it is a good location. I walked into the lobby and thought I was at the wrong address—the walls had gauges, the carpet was filthy, and it was dark and sketchy. The dismissive front desk man was insulting, especially when I asked about the “self-parking” on the premises for a charge that was advertised “It’s cheap hotel - no parking,” he barked. I prayed for safety every time we used the elevator- it was filthy, jerky, and slow, AND there was no inspection certificate showing. We had paid for a standard double room, with two people, on the third floor, in advance, so we had to stay. Arriving on the third floor, we were consumed by the strong smell of weed and some very loud sexual activity down the hall. We opened the door to our room—the door barely opened, the bed took up the whole space, except for a narrow side table and a free standing wardrobe. There were holes/dents in the walls; both light fixtures were hanging by the chord (only one worked); the TV didn’t work; the “Egyptian cotton” sheets had cigarette burn holes all over and looked gross, but smelled clean. The bathroom was large, but dirty. Also only 1 pillow and 1 towel for a two-person room! There was not 24-hour security. The front desk was usually empty AND the front door did not lock!! DON’T STAY HERE!!

Groups of men standing outside, very predatory behavior. As a single woman traveler. I did not feel safe at all. The hotel smelled rancid, staled, damp and very stagnant. I’ve stayed at this hotel years before, I didn’t even stay in here for 5 min. The conditions really dropped in standards. Unacceptable.

I didn’t actually end up staying. There were stains on the sheets and the entire building reeked of smoke despite it being a non smoking hotel. The front desk was rude and so I left. I still haven’t been able to get a refund and Expedia isn’t helping at all.

I liked that I was able to walk to the start of the Brooklyn 1/2 marathon. I did not like the threadbare towels and toiletries and no fridge or microwave or gym. But, it was a good location chosen right before the race.

It’s a clean and safe low-key hotel in a great Brooklyn neighborhood. Starbucks is a block away for breakfast and there are lots of lunch and dinner restaurants nearby on 5th and 7th Avenues.

We didn't even stay the night. Wallpaper coming off the wall, easy to just force door open which is a major safety issue, questionable block, and overall should be a by-the-hour motel at best. A complete waste of $200 and a major fail by Expedia.
