“We had an enjoyable relaxing day. The place is very clean and tidy and had everything that we needed for our mini vacation. We will definitely stay there again. It’s our second vacation there. ”

“This place offers everything you need to enjoy a few days away. Cabin is tastefully done and well stocked. Very clean and comfortable. It’s like 20 feet from the deck to the water and great for kids. We took advantage of the kayaks and the ho tub, which kept our kids entertained while the adults enjoyed the deck and relaxing. We will be back next year hopefully.”

“The main objective of our 15 day trip to Newfoundland was to see icebergs, puffins and several coastal villages. But we also wanted at least one night inland. Back Country Cottages fit that perfectly. A full 30 km inland on old logging roads and trails off the highway, to the cabin at a 12 km long “pond”. We were really glad we had the owner drive us in and out in his truck because our rented sedan would have bottomed out in several places. It also gave us a great chat with the friendly and……

“The property was fantastic. We came off an ocean crossing/sailboat and the cabin was a perfect base to hike the ECT for a few days. Beds were comfy, enjoyed the selection of books and games, utilized the laundry, but the fully stocked kitchen was the absolute gem. Property is clean, quiet, private and would stay there again in a heartbeat. ”
