- Mawgan Porth only a 5 minute drive has a pub, caf?, surf hire and local store
- Newquay is 5 miles with access to the beaches at Fistral, Pentire and Crantock
- 1 mile to Watergate Bay and 9 miles to Padstow
- Trerice and Prideaux Place are 6 and 9 miles respectively
