I had a great stay at this hotel in Kyoto. The property is beautiful, the rooms are spotless, and the entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was very enjoyable.
My only suggestion is regarding the restaurant. The entrée portions were surprisingly small for the price, and the flavors didnât quite meet the standard I expected. I think the chef could improve both the portion sizes and the seasoning to make the dining experience match the high quality of the hotel.
Other than that, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Amazing property. Love it. Have everything for your trip. Wash machine was amazing bonus. Traveling with 2 small kids. Best property in all trip for us. Was Traveling 3 weeks in Japan.

Our 4-night stay at Soraniwa was absolutely perfect. The staff is friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. Our room was as beautiful as it was comfortable, and the fit and finish of the room was remarkable. Loved the sheets and pillows, the silk pajamas they provided and all the extra amenities. Our room had a private onsen, and the onsite onsen was pure luxury. The hotel is located near everything you need for entertainment and dining. Our stay was one of my favorites ever, and we travel often. I would not hesitate to stay at Soraniwa again.
