"We had the opportunity to stay at Jen and Stu’s home in Albemarle Plantation and it was great! We are familiar with the plantation as we have family living there as well. The home is beautifully renovated and well equipped with everything you could need from bicycles to golf clubs to a Sonos system by the hot tub. We definitely will be staying here again when visiting family at the plantation in the future. "

"Only 1 hour from Kitty Hawk and an easy walk to the fishing dock. The River is very shallow far beyond the dock so it’s a great place to play with the kids. The house is well stocked with water toys for big and little kids. Great vacation place for family! "

"This place was ideal and I'd stay here over and over again."

"It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a good location. The place was clean-ish, but could be more clean. There were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which made for a damp smell and a humid area to get ready for the day. Barely any extra amenities like linens, pillows, towels, washcloths, or toilet paper. There is a washer and drier but no laundry soap to use. An ok place to stay in a pinch, but not my first choice."

"Wonderful place to stay away from the congested tourist areas but close enough to enjoy activities and restaurants. Very relaxing and close to nature. "

"The caretakers of this home truly thought of everything. It was welcoming, well stocked and well kept. They even arranged for osprey to make their nest in perfect viewing range. We enjoyed are stay so much we will definitely rebook in the future."

"The host was good with communication ahead of time. Upon arrival, the home was in what appeared to be a state of abandonment. The code the host gave was right and we were able to get in. The AC was not on, so it was almost 90 degrees and the house smelled musky. There was what looked like a months worth of mail on the kitchen counter along with some tools (maybe from previous maintenance?). The floors and counters were sticky and there was pubic hair stuck to the counter in a few spots. Several...
