"Nadette went above and beyond. Picked us up when we were tired and gave one of us a ride to the next town the next day. Both Nadette and Pascal were entertaining hosts. We had lots of laughs and the food was amazing. It was a great experience. "

"A very stylish and modern hotel positioned in the centre of town. Don’t pay extra for parking at the rear as there’s plenty of spaces in the market place outside the hotel. All rooms have air con which was welcome with temperatures at 32c. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it seemed very popular with local people. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate."

"The owners were really extremely nice and made us feel very welcome.
It was a 15 minute drive into Rocamadour to see the Balloons which was not ideal. Small room advertised by Expedia as Junior deluxe!?"

Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable.
Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast.

We arrived late afternoon and were greeted first by Tokay, the owners' cute lical dog, then by the proprietor who, after rhe usual introduction. asked if we would want dinner and outlined thr menu. When I told him that ine of us was a vegetarian. he immediatel proposed a meatless dish, since he was also rhe chef.
The auberge is somewhat isolated, but you can take an enjoyabe walk up the country road that faces the inn toget a sense of rural French life. It is also not far from the medieval...

Charming property with great charm and character in the middle of a beautiful village. We came for a wedding at the Abbey, which was steps away from the hotel. We had a clean room with a comfortable bed and separate toilet and shower room. Bathroom was basic but clean and the room rates are extremely reasonable, especially considering it was high season. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and we were very glad to have it, as there are not many dining options in...

The host was very friendly and helpful. The room is nicely decorated and cleans with very comfortable mattress and pillows. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to use the pool, as it is only open from 4pm to 7pm.

This property is located a short driving distance from l’Hospitalat and Rocamadour in a beautiful country setting, quiet and quaint. The staff was very helpful. Mathieu was very friendly and he welcomed us when we arrived and provided a very accurate description on where and how to go for dinner and to the main attractions. He was always available for any questions. Breakfast was just perfect every day, good variety and delicious. The room was particularly beautiful and clean and the grounds...

The best area to stay in Nonards is within the village itself, which offers a compact and convenient base for exploring the surrounding Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
Nonards is a small, picturesque village characterized by its traditional stone houses and a central square. You'll find a church, a small local shop, and a restaurant, all within easy walking distance. The village is surrounded by rolling hills and countryside, providing a quiet and scenic environment.
For couples seeking a relaxing getaway, staying in Nonards provides a tranquil retreat. You can enjoy strolls through the village, dine at the local restaurant, and use it as a comfortable home base for day trips to nearby attractions like the Dordogne River or the historic town of Collonges-la-Rouge.
Families will also find Nonards a good choice due to its calm environment and access to outdoor activities. The surrounding countryside is ideal for nature walks and cycling, and the village's small size means children can explore with ease.
When is the best time to go to Nonards?
The best time to visit Nonards is during the late spring to early autumn months, specifically from May to October, when the weather is most pleasant for exploring the region.
May and June offer mild temperatures and fewer crowds, making it ideal for those who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking or biking along the Dordogne River. The countryside is lush during these months, and local markets begin to feature seasonal produce.
For travelers who prefer warmer weather and a livelier atmosphere, July and August are excellent. These months are superb for enjoying the local swimming spots and outdoor events, though you can expect more visitors. Temperatures are generally warm, creating a comfortable environment for sightseeing.
September and October provide a beautiful transition with cooler temperatures and the start of autumn foliage. This period is well-suited for couples looking for a tranquil getaway, as the summer crowds have dispersed.
