“An excellent accommodation for my family requirements. 4 adults and 2 children. Good sized bedrooms, excellent kitchen and living area. Generally well equipped, some cleaning cloths required would be our only thought. Otherwise, excellent hosts who were available if required, and though living close where very descreet. The property was easy to find given the GPS coordinates. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they were very helpful in all arrangements. There was good instructions……

“There are just too many thing to list that we enjoyed. We booked this property for for Dads 80th Birthday supprise. The property more than catered for 19 of us with extrem comfort and space. The house and location was just beautiful with 4 acres of Garden to enjoy, along with the open water naterual swiming pond, out door eating area with wood fired Pizza oven and an amazing wood fire hot tub, just brilliant. Dave could not have been more accomodating, helping us hide the cars to suprise Dad, to……

“We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group……

“We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back!”

“Fab property in lovely location. Handy for exploring Cheddar Gorge & Caves. All amenities you could want with the addition of a great poor.. we visited on a hot weekend in May so this was lovely. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend. The Jones’ xx”

“Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields.”

“We loved every moment of our stay here, from the friendly welcome from Paul and Jill to the little home comforts and warm cosy beds! The accommodation had everything we needed, and more, for a few days away. The kitchen was filled with everything needed to enable us to self-cater. However, there was plenty of lovely restaurants to enjoy close by, we would recommend a lovely meal down the road at The Old Inn! Beds were super comfy, the rooms were warm and cosy and everything was super clean.……

“The property was amazing , true to its pictures . Immaculate and had everything you needed for a great weekend . Plenty of towels , crockery and toiletries. Hot tub and swimming pool were nice and clean . The host , Karen , was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her . The late checkout on a Sunday was a great bonus . We will defo be returning .”

“This is a great place to stay. Very well made, really nicely done and in a great location. Hot tub was lovely and perfectly situated outside the patio door from the bedroom. Very impressed. Really clean and well maintained. Close to plenty of locations such as the cheddar gorge and weston supermare. Scenery is fantastic and very peaceful. Made to feel welcome. Loved it.”

“Great huge space in room. The property was clean and tidy, however felt the furniture was more suited to longer stays rather than hotel short stays. Could have done with alternative access after checking that was closer to room.”

“Just stayed at this property, the staff were really friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. Thank you to the night manager who came out in the early morning to check I was OK and offer me a coffee when I was sitting out on a bench waiting for the RAC man after an issue with my car. All staff we met were really helpful and friendly, the room was clean and airy - really enjoyed our stay. ”
