Great location and historic hotel. No air conditioning in the hotel, only in the rooms. Poor amenities. No slippers provided, rooms are very basic. There are no ice buckets, glasses, etc. The hotel is not kept up, looks tired and run-down. The staff were not very friendly or helpful other than the valets. The food at the restaurant was horrible!!!!! Wilted greens for garnish were sad, just leave them off. The steak was way overcooked, the baked potato cruchy, no taste in the food, one of the worst restaurant meals I have had. One small elevator, and it needs to be said again, NO AIR CONDITIONING in the hotel other than the rooms. Would not go back.
