The view and bed were great! The very large room was clean and well decorated. The one major problem that we had with this establishment was their obsession with water conservation. There was a kitchen but no kitchen sink. The bathroom had the one and only sink which measured four by seven inches. There is a timer in the shower for five minutes for your shower. This would be plenty if the shower jet were stronger. This was a spot that I could see retreating to do a lengthy stay if there was a better way to clean the dishes and myself!

Very nice place, all renovated. Clean. Friendly staff. BUT WAY WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT WE GET (continental breakfast with not enough of each item and no service for breakfast. At $350, and a name like « Castle », we would expect a bit more.

Cindy and John were model hosts— kind and hospitable. We loved the china and home-baked goods. Our room was lovely and very comfortable for our three night stay. The Inn is located in a good location for walking to historic St. John’s sites. We highly recommend staying here.

"A nice location, quiet and a clean room. Staff at restaurant are very helpful. The only issue was the lack of space to store your clothes. There are a few hangers and hooks but no dressers. There were a few shelves."
