“I travel a lot for work and usually stay at the larger hotel chains because they’re familiar. This trip I decided to try the Ruby Hotel outside of Sandpoint, and I’m glad I did. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but the moment I walked into the lobby I felt welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly, check-in was easy, and the whole place had a cozy mountain-town feel. My room was small, but in the best way possible. “Staff was great very helpful. Place has a history and is very clean. Easy walk to center of town. Noise air conditioner but, they did provide ear plugs. This is our second visit to Wallace and our second stay at the Stardust.”

“We truly enjoyed our time staying at the teepee on the property. It's located at the back of the property and it is peaceful. The bed was comfortable and was clean inside. There was also a table and futon couch and microwave/fridge. A few things to note: There is a small airport across the road and we heard a plane flying very nearby at night which we wouldn't have expected. Also there are trains which pass and sound their horns. It's not loud but I heard it while my wife completely slept……
