If only the rest of the hotel matched the first impression of the rather splendid lobby.
Unfortunately the new management/owners seem to have bitten off more than they can chew so we have this once grand hotel in a town that seems to be dying on its feet providing perfectly adequate accommodation - but no more.

Room is clean and for me that's the most important. Check in went well. Bed was a little on the hard side. Did not scope out breakfast soup can offer nothing on that. Traveling to Canton NY but stayed here in Massena because this is the best value for your dollar in a 50 mile radius. Worth the extra driving!
